Russian Blend Tea
Russian Blend Tea
Before black tea was imported from China, until the end of the 17th century, people from the time of the emperors drank "Sbiten", a drink made by mixing hot water, honey and herbs. Today, tea is the most popular non-alcoholic beverage in Russia.
This tea is by no means the Georgian one from ancient times, but a blend of black tea based on an old Russian recipe and is suitable for serving from a samovar.
Very aromatic, but still mild with a noticeable note of smoke.
